Kohistan. The city of Karachi forms a separate charge under the City deputy-collector.
The functions of the former District and Sessions Judge are now performed by two Additional Judicial Commissioners, who, together with the Judicial Commissioner, compose the Chief Court in Sind. Sub ordinate to them are a Judge of the Small Cause Court and a Sub ordinate Judge, sitting at Kotri. The city is under the separate charge of a City Magistrate, and there is a Cantonment Magistrate for the Karachi and Manora cantonment.
